Still picture video telephone with printer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To print out a picture picked up by its own camera by providing a pickup area revision means revising a pickup area of the camera. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover means 46 selects a 1st mode, the video telephone set is used as a conventional video telephone set. In this case, a pickup area revision means 36 directs a camera 32 toward a talker to maintain a conventional function. On the other hand, in the case of printing out a document or the like, for example, the document is placed on a placing table, the camera 32 is directed downward by revising the pickup area by the pickup area revision means 36 to pick up the content of the document. Moreover, an object having ruggedness is easily picked up by parting the camera from a face to be picked up. Thus, a print picture in the case of printing out a still picture picked up by its own camera 32 is clearly obtained.
