Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To precisely receive an optical signal by connecting a photoelectric conversion element and an amplifier circuit and providing a transformer which is tuned to a modulation frequency and a DC power circuit which biases a constant voltage to the photoelectric conversion element. CONSTITUTION:The cathode of the photo diode 1 of an infrared ray is connected to the output terminal of the DC power circuit 4, and an anode is connected to one end of a primary coil in a coupled transformer 3, and the other end of the primary coil is grounded. A capacitor C is connected between the terminals of a secondary coil, and it is tuned to the frequency of a communication carrier. When an excessive light is inputted to the photo diode 1 by bringing a transmission part to a reception part, the excessive voltage caused by it is divided by resistances R1 and R2 and is cut. Thus, the peak of the input voltage is fixed, and therefore the operation point of the photo diode 1 is held constant.
