Method and apparatus for treating fiber material

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To perform quick dyeing of a textile material in uniform color as a whole while keeping the original appearance and feeling of the material by placing a textile material on a specific supporting member and forcedly passing a dyeing liquid from the back to the top of the textile material. CONSTITUTION: A woven, knit, nonwoven or nonknit textile material composed of synthetic fiber, artificial fiber or natural fiber is placed on a supporting member containing at least one inner space at the peripheral part of the member and having a front face contacting with the textile material and coinciding with the outer shape of the material. A hot dyeing liquid is forcedly passed through the textile material from the back to the top of the material at a specific temperature for a prescribed period until the material is filled with the liquid. Subsequently, a rinsing liquid having a prescribed temperature is forcedly passed through the textile material from the back to the top for a prescribed period.
