Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the management of maintenance of a liquid supply apparatus in accordance with the degree of failure by detecting a failure of the liquid supply apparatus, and by determining whether thus detected failure is serious or not so as to issue a warning if the failure is serious while an output is delivered with a predetermined delay if the failure is not serious. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pumps 1-1, 1-2 are laid on the outlet side of a liquid receiving tank 9 provided with a water level detector 8, and a liquid feed pipe 7 in which a plurality of check valves 2-1, 2-2 and a plurality of gate valves 3-1, 3-2 are disposed is laid. A pressure detector 4 and a pressure tank 5 are arranged downstream of the pump 1-1, and the pumps 1-1, 1-2 are provided with pressure detectors 6-1, 6-2 and mechanisms for issuing failure signals (a, b), respectively. A control panel 11 determines whether a failure is present or not in accordance with detection signals from several detecting means. As a result, when the detected failure is serious, a remote monitoring section 12 energizes at once an alarm 13.
