Flat cable

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and economical flat cable needing no connector to connect each other by providing conductors parallel to each other in a belt- shaped resin insulator and conducting members contacted to the said conductors and exposed on the both surfaces of the insulator and removable insulating films on the both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Conductors 2 are provided parallel to each other in a belt-shaped insulator 12, and conducting members 11 contacted to the conductors 2 and exposed on both surfaces of the insulator respectively are buried in the insulator, and on the both surfaces removable insulating films 13 are provided to construct a flat cable 10. These cables 10 can be connected to each other by removing the insulating film on one side and contacting the exposed surfaces to each other and fixing, where no connector is needed so a simple and economical connection can be obtained.
