Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To perform use in a helicopter by providing a sensor for detecting the frequency of voice and noise, a sensor for mainly detecting the frequency of the noise and two groups of narrow band filters, processing output from the two groups of the narrow band filters and eliminating only the frequency of the noise. CONSTITUTION: Signal outputs from respective first and second sensors 17 and 18 are respectively connected to narrow band filter groups 19 and 20, the first sensor 17 detects both voice and noise and the second sensor 18 mainly detects only the noise. When the voice picked up by the second sensor 18 is neglected, the noise picked up by both sensors 17 and 18 is correlated. The signal outputs from the respective sensors 17 and 18 are connected to a device for dividing the respective signal outputs to the scheduled number of frequency bands. Then, both signal outputs are connected to a subtraction circuit and noise components from the signal output provided with the voice and the noise are effectively eliminated. Thus, this device can effectively function along with a standard voice recognition system 23 in the environment of the helicopter.
