Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage and/or the breakaway of the aramid fiber cord of the tire, so as to improve the high-speed durability of the tire by using a cord fabric woven by alternately arranging the aramid fiber cord and an organic fiber cord for the belt layer of the tire. CONSTITUTION:A cord fabric which is woven by alternately arranging an aramid fiber cord A and an organic fiber cord B is used for the belt layer of a tire. In this case, at least one of the fiber cords such as a nylon cord, a polyester cord, and a rayon cord is used for the organic fiber cord B. And 40-60% of the total number of cords for forming the cord fabric is composed of the aramid fiber cord A. Therefore, the breakage and/or the breakaway of the aramid fiber cord A in a tire shoulder range and the like can be prevented, so that the high-speed durability of the tire can be enhanced while the aramid fiber cord A is allowed to show its original excellent characteristics.
