Memory access device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify a device by storing main storage key information in main memory device in a memory access device having a protective function to prevent a program being executed from accessing the area of data erroneously. CONSTITUTION:When an access device 1 accesses a normal program area 20 of a main memory device 2, the key information added to an access address is held in a key register 11. On the other hand, the key information for some blocks stored in a key information storage area 30 is stored in a key buffer 12. The key information corresponding to an access read out of the key buffer 12 is compared with the key information in the register 11 by a deciding means 5, when they coincide with each other, a gate 6 is opened and the access from the access device 1 to the main memory device 2 is permitted.
