Structure of external fetching terminal

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To utilize an emptier space on a substrate while holding a minimum gap between an external fetching terminal and its adjacent drawing line by connecting plural drawing lines between the terminal of a 1st row arranged inside close to a liquid crystal display element and connecting the terminals of a 2nd row to the end parts of the drawing lines. CONSTITUTION:The external fetching terminal is constituted of two rows, the 1st row close to the display side consists of external fetching terminals 13A-13C... and the 2nd row is constituted of external fetching terminals 15A-15D.... Two drawing lines 14A, 14B for externally fetching the 2nd row are connected between the external fetching terminals 13A, 13B of the 1st row and respective drawing lines 14A, 14B are respectively connected to the external fetching terminals 15A, 15B. Namely, the external fetching terminals 15A, 15B of the 2nd row are arranged in a wide space part of a lower glass 11. Consequently, the empty space on the substrate can be effectively utilized and mounting density can be improved.
