Stirling engine equipped with harmful component removing device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the purifying efficiency for exhaust gas by installing a purifying part into the exhaust gas duct of a Stirling engine and constituting the titled device so that the purifying part is cooled by operating a cooling device when the temperature of the purifying part rises over a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A purifying part 3 is installed at a proper position of an exhaust duct 2 communicating to the combustion chamber of a Srirling engine 1, and the center part of the purifying part 3 is formed into a cylindrical form in trapezoid, and the inlet and outlet 4 and 5 are connected with the exhaust duct 2. A nozzle 6 is arranged at the inlet 4 part of the purifying part 3, and the nozzle 6 is connected to a water source through a solenoid valve 7. Further, a temperature sensor 8 is arranged at the outlet 5 part of the purifying part 3, and the output signal is inputted into a control part 9, and when the detected temperature is over a prescribed value, the solenoid valve 7 is opened. By the opening of the solenoid valve 7, water is jetted into the purifying part 3 from the nozzle 6, and the temperature of the purifying part 3 is lowered.
