Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a refrigerant which has no significant effect on an ozonosphere and is excellent in the coefficient of performance, by mixing pentafluoroethane with a particular chlorofluorocarbon compd. CONSTITUTION:95-5wt.% pentafluoroethane (A) is mixed with 5-95wt.% at least one chlorofluorocarbon compd. (B) selected from chlorotetrafluoroethane (e.g., 2-chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane), tetrafluoroethane (e.g., 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane), 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane, and 1,1-difluoroethane.
