Abstract

Abstract <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for a hard disk drive which is easily manufactured and excellent in small outgassing properties, low hardness and sealing properties at high temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: In the gasket wherein a packing material is formed integrally with a cover made of metal via an adhesive, a molded product is used as the packing material, which is obtained from a mixture of 100 pts.wt. polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer or blended material of the polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer and a partially and dynamically cross linked polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer, 10 to 100 pts.wt. polypropylene resin, 20 to 130 pts.wt. plasticizer and 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. cross linking agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
