Fpc connector
Abstract
Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FPC connector, of which an actuator at a closing position (a second position) does not inadvertently rotate toward a releasing position (a first position) regardless of whether the FPC is connected or not.
SOLUTION: The FPC connector comprises an insulation housing 2 having an FPC insertion space 21, a plurality of terminals 3, and an actuator 4 arranged in free rotation between the first position enabling the FPC to be inserted into the FPC insertion space, and a second position energizing the inserted FPC toward contact pieces 31 of the terminals 3. The actuator 4 has first axes 45 fitted at either end in a rotating axis direction and second axes 46 arranged between the first axes 45. The rotation center of the first axis 45 and the rotation center of the second axis 46 are offset so that the rotation center of the second axis 46 moves in the direction becoming distant from a first supporting part 621 of the first axis 45 when rotating the actuator 4 from the second position toward the first position, and the second axis 46 is pivotally supported at a second supporting part 331 elastically preventing the above movement.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
