Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal dust collector with improved dust collection efficiency. SOLUTION: The centrifugal dust collector consists of: an outer container 1b being approximately of a cylindrical shape; a first centrifugal dust collection part 1 which collects dust by a cyclone action which makes air whirl downward along the inner wall of the outside container 1b; a second centrifugal dust removal part 6 which communicates with the first centrifugal dust collection part 1 and collects dust by the cyclone action which makes the air whirl upwards from a second intake opening provided in the bottom part; and a third centrifugal dust collection part 11 which communicates with the second centrifugal dust collection part 6 and collects dust by the cyclone action which makes air whirl downwards from a third intake opening 12 provided in the upper part. By providing three centrifugal dust collection parts toward the inside, a large amount of dust collection is assured even when the cyclone part is short, and fine dust which has passed through the first centrifugal dust collection part 1 can be collected with the second centrifugal dust collection part 6 and the third centrifugal dust collection part 11, thereby improving the collection efficiency.
