EL sheet

Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost an EL sheet that uses for a luminous layer a phosphor coated by a substrate containing a nitride and that has long life time and stable operation. SOLUTION: The EL sheet is constructed by forming a transparent conductive membrane 2, composed of a conductive polymer on the transparent substrate 1 and by forming on top of it a luminous layer 3 using a phosphor coated by a substance containing a nitride, and by laminating on top of this an insulation layer 4 and a back side electrode layer 5 in order. As an example of the conductive polymer, polyethylenedioxythiophene out of the polythiophene system conductive polymer is used.
