Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a valve edge film from periodical folding movement and expanding movement in the range of a joint surface by providing a ring of a loop forming artificial organ for mitral and tricuspid cardiovalve with a core having bending flexibility different in sector in a ring plane. SOLUTION: A symmetrical axis 22 of C-shaped loop forming ring 1 vertically intersects the axis 5 extending through the range of the maximum ring extension, and the axis 5 and the symmetrical axis 22 fix the movement main surface. The loop forming ring 1 is provided with marks at the end 6, the position of the maximum ring extension 7, the intersecting position 8 of the symmetrical axis 22 to be easily positioned by a cardiac surgeon. The ring 1 is sub-divided into bending flexible sectors 2, 3, 4 different in kinematic main surface, and the ring 1 has the maximum rigidity in the sector 2, and the minimum rigidity in the range 4. Different rigidity is achieved by a core included in the inside of the ring 1, and the core is different in profile in the ranges 2, 3, 4.
