Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic support system suitable when vehicles capable of being automatically platoon-traveled is traveled by a diagram by increasing new vehicles to the vehicles traveling on a dedicated lane as the vehicles in a prescribed order in a platoon. SOLUTION: This system is provided with vehicles 20 such as buses which platoon-travel on a dedicated lane R1 by automatic driving and travel on a general road R2 in respective cities 1-4 by manual driving and a control system SS having a controller 30. The controller 30 is incorporated with a computer having a CPU, for example to generate various control signals controlling the whole service of the vehicles 20 based on a detection signal from the vehicle detection device and they are transmitted to the vehicles 20 through a control information transmission device. When the specified vehicles are increased from the vehicles 20 during travel in the platoon of the same organization, the signal controlling the service of the vehicles 20 is transmitted to the vehicles 20 through the control information transmission device based on information containing intra-platoon order.
