Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and a coverlay film having various excellent properties derived from a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer and having high adhesive strength to an adhesive. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film having a degree of molecular orientation SOR in the longitudinal direction of the film in the range of 1.03 to 1.15, and a maximum surface roughness (Rmax; JIS B060). 1) using a metal foil having a thickness in the range of 1 to 3 μm, pressing the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film and the metal foil between heating rolls to form a laminate, and applying the laminate to the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer. A modified step including a second step of modifying the film at a pressure of 5 to 20 kg / cm 2 using a metal roll heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the film, and a third step of peeling the metal foil from the laminate. Obtain a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film.
