Abstract 757,407. Plasticizers for vinyl chloride polymers. BOAKE ROBERTS & CO., Ltd., A. Nov. 11, 1954 [Nov. 12, 1953], No. 31403/53. Class 2 (5). [Also in Groups III and IV (b)] Plasticizers suitable for use with polyvinyl chloride and its copolymers, and having a stabilizing action thereon comprise epoxy derivatives of unsaturated fatty acid esters, which have been reduced with hydrogen under mild conditions of hydrogenation (see Group IV (b)). Specified epoxidized oils are sunflower seed, soya-bean, colza, cotton seed, hemp seed, linseed, and olive oils. U.S.A. Specification 2,485,160 is referred to.
