Improvements relating to radar automatic tracking circuits
Abstract
Abstract 750,005. Thermionic distributers. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Feb. 22, 1954 [Feb. 21, 1953], No. 4886/53. Class 40 (3). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a pulse radar (see Group XL (c)) a plurality of signals from stores I, II ... are applied respectively to the control grids of triodes 71a, 71b ... which have a common cathode load 81, the grids being also coupled via diodes 73a, 73b ... to the anodes of the series-connected triodes 74a, 74b .... Valves 74 and hence diodes 73 are normally conductive so that the input signals to triodes 71 are attenuated as descirbed in Specification 738,827, [Group XL (c)], but when a negative trigger pulse is applied to valve 74a, valves 74, and hence diodes 73, are switched off in succession as described in Specification 647,950 so that the input signals are applied successively to load 81.
