Abstract 633,848. Dry contact rectifiers. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Jan. 6, 1947, No. 448. Convention date, Jan. 9, 1946. [Class 37] A blocking layer cell is provided with V- shaped grooves 5 by means of a milling-cutter having V-shaped teeth, the grooves penetrating close to the bottom side of the base 1 of the cell, separate cells being obtained by severing the base 1 along these grooves. Similarly, circular cells may be obtained by the use of a centreless milling cutter. The cells are preferably formed after the milling operation.
