Prefabricated building unit adapted to form the partition wall between a kitchen anda bathroom
Abstract
Abstract 626,216. Plumbing units for buildings. KONSTANDT, F. GOLDBERGER-. Aug. 20, 1946, No. 24853. Convention date, Aug. 20, 1945. [Class 20(i)] A partition between a kitchen and bathroom comprises a prefabricated body 1 carrying the water supply and waste piping and a block 14 with pillars 15, on which the body 1 rests, and projections 21 between which is inserted the part 22 of a block 16 adapted at 17 and 18 to receive the waste waters, 17 and 18 being connected to the main drain pipe 19. The block 16 is reversible so as to extend on either side of the wall, the connection 18 remaining in the middle so that the waste pipes from either side can be of the same shape. The supply pipes all branch from the middle, and may be directed to either side by swinging them about the unions, 5, 6. A similar reversible arrangement applies to the other fittings, e.g. the front wall of a flushing cistern 9 is exchangeable with its rear wall and its outflow pipe can be swung to either side.
