Abstract 604,966. Removing milk-bottle discs. HASTINGS, J. W. Dec. 11, 1945, No. 33412. [Class 125(ii)] Milk bottle closure discs are removed by a device comprising a flanged disc 4, which seats upon the closure disc 6, in a hollow boss of which is supported a depressable plunger 1 into which is screwed a disc-piercing spike 2 biassed upwardly by a compression spring 3.
