[Class 56] Bowl shaped glass articles are formec from a sheet 32 sup ported above an aper ture 17 in a mould block 8 in a gas-heated furnace 12, and acted on by a counter weighted plunger 15 The block is provided with wheels so that i may be moved along rails to a lower-temper ature furnace 13.
