Improvements in synchronising signal separating arrangements for electrical picture transmission systems
Abstract
Abstract 520,709. Television. JONES, W., and PYE, Ltd. Oct. 28, 1938, No. 31289. [Class 40 (iii)] The rectified signals are applied to the grid of an amplifying valve V1 and the synchronizing signals appear at the output of the valve. The output circuit is shunted by a diode D1 which is rendered conductive by the amplified synchronizing signals and generates a negative voltage which is applied to the grid of the valve VI for automatically adjusting its working point and completely suppressing the intelligence signals. This biassing voltage is derived from the resistance R4 and shunt condenser C4 in the anode circuit of the diode which is charged negatively when the diode is conducting, and is applied to the grid of the valve VI through the circuit comprising resistances R5, R1 and the decoupling condenser C5. A fixed bias is applied to the' grid of the valve V1 by the resistance R7 and shunt condenser C6.
