Abstract
Abstract 453,084. Fire-extinguishing. PYRENE CO., Ltd., Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex. Nov. 2, 1935, No. 30353. Convention date, Nov. 2, 1934. [Class 47 (ii)] A fire extinguisher container is charged with an alkyl bromide and an amount of liquid carbon-dioxide that is considerably in excess of the amount of alkyl bromide, under such pressure that the carbon-dioxide will solidify on being suddenly released from the container, so that mixed crystals of the alkyl bromide and carbon-dioxide can be projected on to a fire.
