[Class 38 (v)] A multi-pole switch is arranged in the handle of an electrically-operated tool, the switch comprising several switches 4<a>, 4<b>, 4<c> which are arranged longitudinally and operated by a bar 5 which is guided by pins 7 and slots 6 and operated one way or the other by pressure on one or other end of an operating member 12 pivoted at 13.
