Abstract 406,584. Radiator &c. tube joints. CROSS, R. C., 33, Midford Road, Odd Down, Bath. Aug. 15, 1933, No. 22775. [Class 99 (i).] Tubes 3 are jointed in a fluidtight manner to each header 1 of a radiator &c. by a rubber &c. sheet 7 which is provided with holes to receive the tube ends and is compressed to grip the tubes by a metal clamping plate 8 which is engaged by screws 9 mounted on the header wall 5. The sheet 7 and plate 8 are accommodated within a recess 6 formed in or located on the wall of the header.
