Abstract
Abstract 255,672. General Electric Co., Ltd., and Pochobradsky, S. Sept. 10, 1925. Casings.-A diaphragm for a compresor comprises a group of blades 1 cast in metal at both ends, the group being cast in a single piece 2 of metal at one end but divided at the other end into sub-groups each cast in separate pieces 3 - - 5 of metal. Gaps 6 ,7 between the sub-groups may be filled in with material such as cast aluminium of metal. Gaps 6, 7 between the sub-groups may be secured to the sub-groups by rivets 9.
