Abstract
Abstract 213,901. Million-Guiet, (Assignees of TilliÚ, G.). April 6, 1923, [Convention date]. Holders for sliding windows.-Sliding windows for vehicles can be adjusted in any position by means of movable jaws mounted on the window and adapted to engage yieldably a. vertical support secured to the body. The jaws comprise crank-shaped levers 6, 6 which are pivoted to the cross-piece 5 and carry rollers 7, 7 adapted to engage, by means of springs 9, 9, notches in the outer edges of two uprights 1, 1 secured to the vehicle body. The two supports are connected at the top by a knob 2. At the upper part of the cross-piece 5 is secured a U-iron member 10 lined with india-rubber 11 to receive the lower edge of the glass, the said rubber strip 11 also serving to make a tight joint with a strip secured to the fence rail when the window is closed. India-rubber projections 13, 13a attached to the uprights 20, 20 act as stops when the window is in the lower position.
