Abstract
Abstract 16,321. Ware, J. F. July 13. Dash-pots. - Consists in an adjustable twobranch timing-device applied to photo - printing apparatus, in which a piston 69 descends occupying a time depending on the passage of oil through a cut-off valve in the other branch. This is adjustable by rotating a tube 85 having a rectangular opening 87, within a tube 83 having a triangular opening 84. The tube 85 is set by means of a pointer working over a scale. During the lifting of the piston 69, oil flows through the self-opening valve 76. Stops 81, 82 are provided on the piston, and a vent-tube 91 between the two branches.
