Abstract 1375673 Developers for diazotype materials RICOH KK 20 Oct 1972 [4 Nov 1971] 48376/72 Heading G2C A liquid developer which is used to develop 1 or 2-component diazotype materials comprises a solution of 1 part by weight of an inorganic alkali, 1 to 2 parts by weight of water (based on alkali) and 1 to 5 parts by weight of glycerine or a glycol (based on weight of water) and a coupler if a 1-component material is to be developed. The developer may also contain less than 15 per cent by weight of an amine based on the total weight of developer. Specified glycols are di - and tri-alkylene glycols and polyethylene glycol of molecular weight between 190 and 400.
