Abstract 123,770. Duveau, G. March 18, 1914, [Convention date]. Wire couplings.-Conducting- wires are secured in position, on an electrically-heated smooth. ing-iron for example, by a hollow rivet consisting of two parts b, c, Fig. 1, fitted in a hole in the insulator d, the wire a being wrapped round the part b between a flange thereon and a washer c. The rivet is closed by a hammer blow and deformed to the shape shown in Fig. 2, the insulator being distorted and the washer embedded therein.
