Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to a device for mounting a boot (2) on a ski (1), comprising a front stop (3), a heelpiece (4) and a rigid linking member (5) extending longitudinally between the front stop (3) and the heelpiece (4). This device is characterised in that it comprises means (8, 9) for producing, in the absence of a boot, a longitudinal tension prestress in the linking member (5).
