Abstract
Abstract The handle is made from two distinct layers of carbon fibres which are then impregnated with a resin. When this hardens it assures the cohesion of the handle. The first layer has fibres (6) which are distributed along the handle's geometric axis (7), round a rigid conical former (10). The second layer of fibres are rolled spirally round the handle's geometric axis and are put on top of the first layer. Onee set of fibres (8) is rolled to the right and another set (9) is rolled to the left, by rotating the former in different directions. USE - For fabricating the handle of a golf club.
