Abstract
Abstract Motorised handling roller for producing a transport path. It includes an electric motor whose rotor is connected kinematically to a tubular cylinder 1 via a speed reducer (reducing gear). Between the speed reducer (reducing gear) 4 and the tubular cylinder 1 is arranged a friction coupling 17, 18, 19 which can be adjusted from the outside of the roller through an axial passage 21 of the shaft 2. The speed reducer (reducing gear) as well as the motor are thus protected against excessive braking forces or acceleration forces caused by the load transported.
