Base plate for a handling trolley
Abstract
Abstract Base plate for a handling trolley, comprising longitudinal members 3 delimiting the four sides of an external frame 2 of generally square or rectangular shape and, at each of the four corners of this framework, a support member 7 fixed to the neighbouring ends of two of the perpendicular longitudinal members forming two consecutive sides, this member mounting a castor 6 on which the base plate rests. According to the invention, the support member 7 mounted in each corner consists of a small elongate sheet-metal plate 23 extending under the two perpendicular longitudinal members 22, the said small plate being folded back on itself twice at right angles at one of its ends, so as to form a plane rebate 26 parallel to said small plate, and covering, from the top, the top of the neighbouring ends of two longitudinal members 22 and on which ends the latter are immobilised, the remaining part of the small plate arranged under the longitudinal members comprising holes 34 for fastening the castor.
