Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a device allowing patients 4 to be radiographed or carried to be held without injuring them. The restraint device consists of a base or support 1 permeable to X-rays, used as a dorsal support for the patients; lateral parts 2 between which the patients are introduced, permeable to X-rays and jointed by hinges 5 on the support 1; a set of straps 3 which provide maximum restraint; carrying handles 7 and attachment points for fixing members fixed onto the support 1; a mattress 9 and cushions 10 permeable to X-rays which insulate the patient from the system.
