Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a device facilitating the automatic electrical supply of small electronic systems, according to need, should the supply via the mains be cut or fail. It consists of a battery 1 which may optionally be recharged by a conventional charger, and which is connected to a regulator 2 (whose output voltage can be adapted to that of the system to be protected), supplying an electronic unit 3 whose purpose is to establish the connection of the device once the supply voltage of the system to be protected has dropped from a value S corresponding to the threshold for switching this unit. The device according to the invention is intended to secure the electrical supply of small electronic systems such as microcomputers and specific terminals, in particular badge readers.
