Apparatus for topographical measurement and plotting

Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a measurement instrument comprising a tripod base on which it is possible to fix in succession a tracing table and a sight/measurement/plotting device comprising a telescope and a system with two perpendicular rules which are hinged and each fitted with a reducing scale. The sight/measurement/plotting device allows the production at a given reduced scale, of the trace of a point in space in a horizontal reference plane as well as its azimuth with respect to this plane, which trace and azimuth can be plotted on a recording medium. The device allows measurement of fronting for example to be made simply and without needless risks.
