Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a method and device for selecting a source of energy in a multi-energy heating installation. According to the invention, the device comprises a circuit 3 for starting the boiler which can operate on electricity 1 or on a fuel 2. The choice of energy is performed by a comparator 6 which determines the most economic heating mode as a function of the external temperature measured by a probe 9 and of the energy cost ratio predetermined by the adjustment of a potentiometer 11. The invention will most particularly be applicable in domestic heating installations.
