Safety-belt buckle, with anti-inertia safety device
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a safety-belt buckle of the type comprising a hooking member interacting with a locking element 5 held in the locking position by a blocking member 7 moving between a first blocking position and a second unlocking position, arranged according to a L-shaped cutout, and comprising a lengthening piece (appendix) 340 immovably attached to a pushbutton 10, arranged so as to interact with the blocking member in order to prevent the movement of this blocking member from its first position towards its second position, without depression of the pushbutton, and to permit the passage of the blocking member when the latter moves from the second position towards the first position. This device makes it possible to prevent the blocking member from moving following the concomitant action of pressure on the hooking member and an inertial impact transverse to the direction of introduction of the hooking member.
