Spotlight with simultaneous use or otherwise of a light or slide projector.
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to an optical device which comprises a bulb with dichroic mirrors 1, a reflecting tube 2 which makes the light beam parallel and uniform in the plane frontal to the axis 7 of the spotlight, an anti-heat filter 3, a second tube 5 serving as guide for a projection objective of the beam 6, and between this tube and the filter 3 a groove making it possible to insert a slide frame 4 into which can be placed, among other things, a coloured filter, a slide, a microfilm, a mask of any shape whatever or an indexing frame which makes it possible - by transfer onto an identical printed frame - to determine the precise shape of the mask to be cut out so as to illuminate an object or a shape even when seen in perspective, by following the exact contours without the light beam overlapping the limit of the object. The spotlight thus designed may project a beam or a slide according to any shape whatever or an object by following its precise contour.
