Accelerometer amplifier arrangement with offset compensation
Abstract
Abstract The amplifier output is compared (27) with a comparison voltage during a fixed or variable clocking time. The output of a current supply (35) is increased or decreased depending on the comparator (27) output and is fed with an amplifier input. The output offset voltage is regulated to null. The comparison voltage is the offset voltage of the comparator. One comparator input is connected via a transistor switch (26) to the amplifier output. A comparison input of the comparator is connected to a capacitor (28). When the switch is open the comparator input connected to it is earthed and the output is connected to t e capacitor. With the switch closed the comparator output acts on the current supply.
