Abstract
Abstract Microwave antenna which is omnidirectional in a given plane H, composed of radiating elements of the planar type with microstrip lines associated with a dielectric substrate. These radiating elements are supplied in parallel, thus forming a number N greater than 2 of identical linear arrays. These linear arrays are grouped so as to form either the lateral faces of a prism with an axis z'z perpendicular to H, or the lateral surface of a cylinder with axis of revolution z'z perpendicular to H. Such an antenna has a very high operating frequency and a wide passband. Application: 23 GHz radiowave links with a passband of 2 GHz.
