Abstract
Abstract The wheel chair has a foot rest support fitted to a frame, with uprights (3) at the front, and a foot rest (21) whose height is adjustable. The foot rest is joined to the uprights by a U-shaped slide (22). The foot rest is fixed to the slide by a rod (48) and a hinge. This has two feet (24,25), joined to the slide, with studs (28,29) on which two plates (33,44) joined to the rod, pivot. The slide is locked on the upright by a screw (58) that moves a locking clamp (60) that presses on the upright.
