Abstract
Abstract The sun shield pivot bearing (2) has a flexible strip (21). The active end of this (23) is parallel with one side (14) of a triangular cross-section hinge (10). The pivot (1) has two flats (5,7) which are diametrically opposed. One (7) of the flats is wider than the other (6) and presses on the side (14) of the triangle opposite the strip (21) when the shield is raised. The strip is cut off in the bearing leaving a window on one side (20) and presses here if the pivot is removed.
