Abstract

Abstract In the heat transfer of patterns onto textile fabrics the process comprises the direct use of the transfer sheet, which is transparent and bears the transferable tracing. as a temporary support sheet. The pattern is traced directly onto the transparent sheet, and may be coloured or decorated with >=1 colour, and the transfer of the pattern thus obtd. is effected by heating in a single step, to remove it from the support transfer sheet to the final fabric. The process provides a means of transferring very fine precise designs, and eliminates the necessity of working with one colour only at a time.
