Abstract
Abstract The generator set has a heat engine and an alternator coupled together via a rotary inductor with permanent magnets and a fixed polyphase armature connected to a diode rectifier. The armature has coils in slots in the periphery of a cylindrical frame. The inductor consists of a tube coaxial with the armature and provided with several pairs of radial poles. An alternator with 6 poles rotating at 8,000 rpm generates 400 Hz.
