Abstract
Abstract The collector vessel for faeces for a patient having an intestinal stoma consists of a rectangular pouch (1) with an entry opening (4) near the top. Around this opening is mounted a rectangular layer (5) of VELCRO (R.T.M.) material. To the skin of the patient is attached by an adhesive coating, a similar rectangle of material (2) with resilient hooks (11) over the other surface. Support of these two members is assisted by a strap (3) of similar material with loops (14) one side and hooks (13) on the other side. This is then fitted between the two rectangular layers (5, 2).
